Helene's artistic journey started at age eight when she received her first award in the form of dinner with her parents at a noted restaurant, along with tickets to the premier showing of the latest Disney movie.
She is noted for her exquisite bird and landscape paintings and has many avid collectors. Helene's paintings show a strong interest in line, color, edges and boundaries. Most of her work explores the visual phenomena of light, motion and reflection. These paintings have a distinctive and artistic response to oil-painting and her art is on display through various New England art associations and galleries. Helene is a prolific artist who has gained artistic insight from the many New England master artists she has studied under and is recognized for her representational oil paintings of New England coastal scenes.
