Mary Ogden Armstrong
"My aim in drawing and painting is first for others to enjoy what they see, even have questions if they wish. Next I paint or draw to show emotion, rhythm and colors or lines that dance on the paper or canvas."
Mary began her interest in drawing and painting when a young child growing up on a farm in Ohio. Horses were a favored subject as well as other animals. Education: BFA, Akron Art Institute, 1955. Other classes in drawing and print/graphics; Cleveland Institute of Art. She has worked in the graphic art/design field for 40 years and has exhibited in local and regional shows, winning awards & honorable mentions.
