I paint in an abstracted version of my memories or from images that I dream up.

Northern Spirit is the embodiment of what is familiar to me about my country. It is cold but somehow still beautiful. I've used a simple palette of turquoise, rich brown and cream. I started with brushes and finished the piece off with palette knives.

Three Sailboats transpired from a memory of walking along Coco Beach in Costa Rica. Bright color is the main focus with bold brushstokes to convey my feelings of this scene.
