"Falling Down" is of an abandoned barn about 1 mile down the road. Over the years, it's been slowly collapsing and I thought it would make an interesting piece.
I chose the "Moon" photo because of the number of comments I received on it. From my perspective, it was a simple shot, but that's from my perspective.
Just yesterday I received a comment that surprised me regarding a photo that I shared on the Cambridge in Colour forum from another photographer who said "I like this; it is a bit like a Monet." regarding:
I never considered a possible connection to the work of Monet.
Bio
I was born and grew up on Long Island in the year of Sputnik, 1957, I've always been interested in science and technology and my 34 year career has been in electronics, computers, and software. I'm self employed and my business is http://www.kitsune-eng.com/ (nearly all the photography for the Kitsune web site is mine), I moved to Texas in 1991 to have land, animals (All the photos in the Furry Friends gallery are my companions nd I do have many more that I need to properly photograph), a dark sky for astronomy, and not to have to worry about malls and housing developments on my property line.
